Hello Chris - can you elaborate more on the problem? I just tried and the link works.

Cheers, Gracie

One quick workaround I can think off - not sure if it's gonna be useful.

Duplicate another excel file with only SNP500 as the "active investment"and for every trade you put in your primary excel file, make equivalent "investment" in the SNP500. Then you can compare the two performance (between primary investment vs. SNP500-only investment), albeit separately/eyeball.

Hey Jadyen

Thanks for sharing your experience!! I'm very happy that it was useful and suited your needs! Just noticed that E14 had 7/1/2017 hardcoded in it - thankfully the impact is minimal/none. If you want to quick quick fix - you can copy the other other E__ red cells with =TODAY() and replace the "7/1/2017" but then it wouldn't make much differences (remember to back up your file if you do so!)

For adding new lines - the grouping will break. You can use the "AUTO REGROUP LINES" feature to reorganise them.

Thanks for the suggestion on S&P500 too! I'll see if it's something easily implemented or not (considering the manual-ness of excel template)

Cheers
Gracie

I've been using the excel sheet for almost a week now, I think it's great especially I can track my IRR value and show in MYR. It would be even awesome if the S&P500 index can be added for comparison with our portfolio.

Noted that the red cell E14 has a hidden date of 7/1/2017 which affect the portfolio age lol. Also, it seems like every time I pasted a new set of fund, the collapsible rows kind of go off, is it true that I have to manually regroup them every time ?

Thanks again for making such an amazing portfolio tracker !!!

It works now :D, didn't thought about that. Another thing is how do we know the currency is working after we paste the API key? Coz it seems like the table is not updating.

Thanks

Hi Jayden

Glad it worked! Another tips When deleting the old data (snapshot), make sure to select the entire rows (example: Row 2 : Row xxx of sample snapshots), right click and "Delete Row". This should help to avoid the blank rows.

Cheers
Gracie

Hi Gracie,

Thanks for the help, the old data is now removed. The only problem I have is the new updated row in portfolio snapshot wouldn't start from row 2, it start from the blank rows left by the previous data. How do I solve this?

Many thanks,
Jayden
