Hi Yen
Sorry for my late reply and thank you for your patience! Was pretty caught up.
From IBKR perspective, to be eligible for day trading, you must have at least 25K USD worth of liquidity as specified https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/trading/margin-stocks.php
I believe the fees would be similar, i.e. charged per trade based on their commissions model @ https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/index.php?f=commission
Hope these helps!
Cheers

Hello ALK! Thanks for asking. Unfortunately for Malaysians we're not entitled for the Amazon Vouchers either as the Referral or the Referee 🙁
]]>Hey Kevin, thanks for your description! 🙁 Sorry to hear about your experience.. Not sure if there's any other brokers that might help you if the two big ones was not able to (IBKR / TD Ameritrade)
Hope you'll be able to find a way soon!
Cheers
Gracie
As for IB, they are able to trade OTC stocks but unable to receive OTC shares that I bought via private placement when I check with them last year, which is why I ended up with TSG when they said they are able to, but in the end, its a NO as well.

Hi Gracie,
Thanks for your response.
The issue I have with OTC stocks is although I'm able to trade it on certain platform (TDA, TSG), but for whatever undisclosed reason, they declined to receive the stocks that I wanted to transfer over from the transfer agent (upon free-up from the lock period) which bought during the private placement.
Regards,
Kevin
Hey Kevin
I tried digging around but can't find much about US OTC stocks. Seems like they have only listed major exchanges on their pricing page: https://www.tradestation-international.com/global/exchange-fees/
However, within IBKR > Account Settings > Permissions > Stock Permissions, there's United States (Penny Stocks) listed which seems to be used for OTC stocks. I haven't really tried this so you might have to reach out to either TSG support ([email protected]) or IBKR Message Centre for help.
On your second question - by "ITS" are you referring to Interactive Brokers (IBKR) vs. TradeStation Global (TSG)? If so - it depends on your current situation. If you have above $100K USD Portfolio, then it's definitely better to just open with IBKR as it has better commission rates and less hassle to deal with middleman party (TSG) especially when it comes to help/support inquiries. Plus with IBKR PRO you get to trade fractional shares (something lacking in TSG today).
Cheers
Gracie
You're most welcome Ting! Glad it was useful to you. Let's learn together! ^^
