I get this a lot - from my friends, peers or co-workers whenever we talk about personal finance topic.
There's a saying that goes like this:
The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago
The second best time is NOW
- Ancient Chinese Proverb
...or something like this. This is equally true when it comes to personal finance.
The earlier you start, the more time you have for compound interest to work in your favour and grow your money. I was fortunate to embrace the financial journey in my early 20's but I have my fair share of regrets as well - when I have wasted 2-3 financial years in between due to life and emotional decisions.
